1. Eligibility Requirements
To be approved as a Verified Expert, you must demonstrate professional standing in a specialized field relevant to our content. We typically look for:
- A valid Australian Business Number (ABN) or registration if you are a business owner.
- Current professional membership or certification.
- Significant industry experience (5+ years) in your field.
The Application Process
Research Credentials
Identify your professional credentials and ensure you have your verification details ready.
Submit Application
Log in to your Helpious account and fill out the Expert Application form in your settings.
Editorial Review
Our team manually verifies your details. This usually takes 2-3 business days.
Activation
Once approved, you'll receive a notification and your Expert features will be unlocked immediately.
Expert Notes: Your Contribution
As an expert, you won't edit the core information (which is maintained by our editorial staff), but you can add Expert Notes.
Expert Notes are short, 280-character observations that provide real-world context. For example, a technician might add a note about a common troubleshooting step that isn't in the standard manual.
Guideline for Expert Notes:
"Notes must be practical, non-promotional, and directly relevant to the question on the page. All notes are reviewed by an admin before they appear to the public."
